So it's kind-of been a rough week for me personally. Not feel too good for most of the week, an upcoming doctor's appointment only added extra stress on top of that, and I could not get the peace and quiet needed for a good night's sleep even if my life depended on it. Even with all that said, I think of a couple things to talk about, probably not ramble too long since it's getting late and I really need to catch up on sleep. Today I slept in all the way to 9:30, which is a lot for me considering even when I don't have to wake up to an alarm, my body tends to wake me up before 8.
Paper Mario/Golden Sun
Nothing fun to report this week. Most of my modding time has been with finishing up the class document. All main classes are done, all that's really left is adding back in the Jack Adept/Toolsmith class.
TBH I'm still on the fence of if I want to keep it, but I guess it's easier to just add it in now and so I can playtest to rebalancing it/decide if I should get of it later. The problems of it from a battle standpoint ESPECIALLY reared it's ugly face when I was giving it a playtest in Venus Lighthouse on the last Dawn of Djinn stream. It's intentionally supposed to be the weakest class to keep it's focus for utility outside of battle, but a full party of said class was down-right unusable, and I think that may be going to far. It's a big reason I'm questioning if it's worth even putting in Second Mix at all. Especially since in Second Mix every class is new and there's much more interesting Psynergy tied behind certain classes.
But don't take my word for it. Typically, I hide my Dawn of Djinn livestreams unlisted to avoid confusion with the video series. But I'll make an exception this time so I can timestamp the stream and let you all see what I mean for yourself...
Haven't had much time to work on Sweet Expedition as I'm still working on finishing the commentary for the next video featuring it.
