Well, apparently, I never actually published the blog I made for next week. That's going to make things a little awkard since I feel like I have too much to update on regardless of that.
Progress has been going smooth for Dawn of Djinn, and I've made a ton of progress on Youtube uploads. Though I haven't had too much motivation to work on Sweet Expedition lately, so I'm just going to wait until I'm ready to resume that.
More details below.
Golden Sun/Paper Mario
A couple weeks ago I attempted to do something with a new NPC for Sweet Expedition but it kind of backfired and I haven't had the time or motivation to try and figure out why it's not working so I think that's a big reason I've been way more interested working on Golden Sun: Dawn of Djinn as of late.
I really hope I can keep expectations for Paper Mario Sweet Expedition down. I feel like there's no way it'll live up to the time it has taken for me to complete it, especially since I don't think I'm going to be able to implement every idea I wanted to do for it, but it's still too early to go into detail on that. Just keep in mind that this will probably be a 2-4 hour experience regardless on how long it takes to finish. It's not a full game it's just taking a while because my time has been pretty divided to between projects and TBH it's not the project that's of highest priority.
That reminds me, there's some cool stuff going on, way better than anything I would make, going on in the Paper Mario modding community lately. So I highly encourage you to check out the Discord (if you haven't already) in the meantime. TTYD-64 got a Ch 5 demo a few weeks back and I think a demo of Ch. 3 isn't too far away.

On that note. Progress on updating all the classes for the new version of Dawn of Djinn has been good and it's been fun. I think I'm going to wait another week or so before sharing any new details on it. I feel like it won't be safe from last minute changes until I've at least touched every class once. Even find myself going back to tri-elemental classes I thought I was done within version 1 and making new adjustments.
I've noticed that working on classes has not been as linear as I thought it would be, with a lot of moments where I go back and make adjustments to classes I thought I was already done with because of something I did to a class further down the list. So I think it's better to wait till I have things more concert before I share. A little concern how I'll balance everything else like Djinn and summons around all these new moves and classes yet; but at least it'll make for a VERY interesting class system. One that's drastically different from Dawn of Djinn Version 1. Looking forward to sharing more about it.
