Golden Sun:

Made a surprising amount of progress with Dawn of Djinn this weekend. There was just one day I decided to mess with Ivan's default class and I got stubborn enough to keep up with it for several days until it was done. Then I took that energy to work on some mixed classes as well.

I guess I can at least talk about my tentative plan with that for now. For one, I plan to have tri-elemental classes stick to a similar move-pool to version 1. I went through the trouble already making up a brand new pool of Psynergy for them already so I might as well implement it into version 2. Though if I end up making new Psynergy that fits the theme of the class better I might squeeze it in. Overall it'll be copied over from version 1 which is a great thing because Version 1 tri-element classes were already different from vanilla classes and I think in a pretty fun way as well.

The big thing is gonna be how I can get the other classes to that level of different/fun without making them too powerful... I've played a bit of Golden Sun Reloaded since making DoD Version 1, and I really like how that mod handles classes so I think I'm going to take a lot of inspiration from Reloaded for dual element classes, incorporating Dawn of Djinn exclusive abilities where appropriate. Though I got an idea to put my own personal spin for the mono-element classes. I think I'll wait till I finish all of them before diving into the details though. Like I alluded to though, I did basically finish up Ivan's new class so I'm 1/4 the way there.

Paper Mario:

Most of my focus this week has been with Dawn of Djinn but I've done a little bit with Sweet Expedition here and there. Mostly a bunch of various little things so I don't really have any new progress to showcase for now. I suppose I can reshare a clip I shared on the Paper Mario Discord of a new NPC I'm working on though.

Mis.

I get the feeling the next week's content update is gonna be light. Saturday is basically shot between the Pokemon Go Fest finale and the Splatfest going on for the pre-release of Splatoon 3. In fact I just got back from playing Pokemon Go and am I'm writing this now to buy myself a little more time to check spawns before jumping into that Splatfest. I had WAY more fun with Pokemon Go than I was expecting with this finale event. Helps there was a Jazz Festival going on right next to the park I walked at so checking that out bought a little more time to play. It's still going on for another hour but I will say it's been treating me well so far. Got myself a good chunk of Ultra Beast. And my shiny luck has been going a ton better than the first part of Go Fest.

Started the event with a shiny Anorith. That one has been a hold out forever. Though went several hours shiny dry. But of course as soon as I checked out the Jazz Festival I started getting flooded in shinies. Starting with a Shinx with is probably the dup. CD shiny I'd be most happy with, but right when I thought I used up all my luck on that, I stumbled into two new shines in a row and continue to get a few more within that same hour. Wasn't lucky enough to get any shiny regional monkeys or Unown, but I'll take what I can get. I'm really hoping for shiny Muma but of course they put all of the Muna spawns into the last hour when I'm already home and done walking. But we'll see, I was lucky enough to get a shiny Celfairy in the time frame of writing this blog so maybe my luck has one more trick up it's sleeve.
