This is gonna be a quick blog since the video does most of the talking. October is going to be a busy month as I finish up the rest of the Paper Mario Randomizer, introduce the next playthrough to take it's stead, finish up/catch up on some things, and try to take some time to just enjoy myself and share some of my more original concepts outside of modding.
So first of all, progress with Golden Sun Dawn of Djinn has been going great andstill taking a break on Paper Mario Sweet Expedition. I've gone through every class in Golden Sun at this point and I just need to review the tri-elemental classes and readd DoD quad-elemental classes and then I'll be ready to start playtesting and doing deeper balancing. Should be ready to at least share something from my work the past months in one of the blogs coming up this month.
As for Sweet Expedition, while I haven't felt ready to get back into working on it, I've at least resumed working on that partner class video I said I was going to make and I think I'll start my video playthrough of the WIP Sweet Expedition, shortly after completing that. I feel you all will at least get to see some new footage of Paper Mario Sweet Expedition this month, even if I don't work on it this month.
As for videos, Swapping the upload dates of Golden Sun & Paper Mario Rando so that the latter can be done by the end of this month. Even going to be uploading extra videos the last full week of October so that it'll be fully uploaded by the end of the month. So Golden Sun Dawn of Djinn every Wed, Paper Mario Randomizer Mon/Wed, with usually mis. Saturday and shorts Sundays.
Now for the fun things. For a long time, I've been wanting to take some time just to share some things from Overseer of the Elements. Original plan was to do a social media campaign where I share something from it every day, but because I didn't prep in advance that plan fell through. Still, I want to share some blogs, sketches, and more to some degree this month to better explain what Overseer of the Elements is and have some fun along the way. Best case scenario there will be new sketches/drawings along with even making some videos to visually show off the gameplay mechanics, story, and characters. Worst case scenario I'll just be retweeting old drawings that basically already do that. Hopefully it ends up being a blend in between though. (Maybe I'll finally get around to updating the Overseer of the Element section of the site to actually have something on it.)
So hopefully I'll be seeing you all soon for some of that.
